Applications for Patient Reference Group

Thank you for your interest in joining Enfield CCG’s new Patient Reference Group.

The Patient Reference Group (PRG) is being established in 2019 to respond to feedback received in the 360 Stakeholder Survey which identified that more engagement was needed, including more targeted engagement with stakeholders at all stages of the commissioning cycle.

We are looking for at least nine residents who have experience of local health services and who want to help improve services for Enfield patients to come forward and volunteer for this new group. The group will meet face to face at least four times a year, but we may contact you in-between meetings by email or other e-communications methods to ask your opinion on local NHS services. We want you to put forward your perspective as an individual patient so that we can understand what local people need from the services that we plan, buy and monitor. We welcome applications from everyone, including those who have never volunteered before. The CCG serves a diverse borough and we want this group to reflect individuals experience and opinions of the NHS and how we can make services better for everyone.

A person specification and role description is available to download. We are managing applications via expressions of interest. To apply please fill in this form. You will be asked to tell us, your name, your contact details, the member practice you are registered with and to complete some equalities monitoring data. You can also tell us in up to 500 words why you are applying for this role and any special interests or experience you have had.

The closing date for these roles is Sunday 17 March 2019.

We will contact each applicant individually about their application. We aim to support all candidates who come forward for the PRG to find a volunteering opportunity with the CCG.

We hope you find this an exciting opportunity to volunteer in a supportive environment, representing patients from across Enfield and influencing the future direction of the local NHS.

We look forward to receiving your application. If you need this application form in another format or if you would like an informal discussion or any assistance with your application, please contact enfccg.communications@nhs.net or call 0203 688 2814.
